Freedom To Ski II – Château d’Oex, Schweiz

In 2020, Cura Children’s Foundation successfully raised capital to purchase the first Tandem’Flex Ski and donated it to the Capdenho Association, a non-profit organization that makes the mountains accessible to all. The ski is a revolutionary piece of equipment that allows children with disabilities to enjoy the freedom and the excitement of skiing, alongside their peers and family.

Specialized volunteer ski instructors guide the young participants sitting on the Tandem’Flex Ski, through an experience they’ll never forget. This initiative not only brings joy, inclusion and adventure into the lives of these children but also fosters a sense of community and belonging.

Cura Children’s Foundation, has had the pleasure of joining these volunteers during their guided tours and therefore, personally witnessed the cheerful laughter and excitement of the children in this exhilarating experience.

In response to the many requests of friends and family looking to pay tribute to Bernhard Baumann, Cura Children’s Foundation has chosen to raise money for a second Tandem’Flex Ski. Papa Baumann was an avid skier and he spent many winters in the Swiss Alps. We know that nothing would make Caroline’s dad happier than to gift an unforgettable ski experience to many challenged children. Your donations will make it a reality!
